❓ WhatsApp/Discord/Zoom doesn't show CABLE Output as a microphone option

  1. Press Win + R → type mmsys.cpl → press Enter
  2. Go to the "Recording" tab
  3. Right-click in the empty space and check "Show Disabled Devices"
  4. If CABLE Output is grayed out, right-click it and click "Enable"
  5. Right-click "CABLE Output" → click "Set as Default Device"
  6. Right-click it again → click "Set as Default Communication Device"
  7. Click OK
  8. Close your call app completely (Quit from taskbar) and restart it
Solution 2: Grant Microphone Permissions
  1. Press Win + I → go to Privacy & security → Microphone
  2. Turn ON "Microphone access"
  3. Turn ON "Let apps access your microphone"
  4. Scroll down and turn ON for WhatsApp/Discord/Zoom
  5. Restart the app
❓ The other person can't hear me
Make sure your call app microphone is set to CABLE Output, not your real mic.
❓ I can hear my original voice, not the converted one
Check that Echo AI Output is set to CABLE Input, and the call app mic is set to CABLE Output.
❓ No audio output at all
Make sure you clicked START and waited for the "Speak now" indicator. Try speaking louder — the app filters silence.
❓ Echo AI shows 'Connection error'
Check your internet connection. The voice engine runs in the cloud and requires internet.
❓ Windows says the app is unsafe
Click More info → Run anyway. This is a standard warning for new apps without a paid code-signing certificate.
